The Oncology Precision Therapeutics and Imaging Core (OPTIC) provides comprehensive services for the generation, utilization, and analysis of preclinical cancer models. Our goal is to assist and educate both Columbia University Researchers and outside users in performing high quality translational studies using high quality models and best practice techniques.  This service dovetails with campus initiatives in precision medicine, enabling the generation of patient-derived tumors models across organ sites. Our structure reflects an expansion of the scope of this core from just small animal imaging to a comprehensive  translational therapeutics service.
